Undergraduate Philosophy Association: Philosophy of Personhood!
Who are you? Yes you philosopher. You reading this very sentence. Who. Are. You?
Have you ever stared so deeply into someone’s eyes that you can make out a galaxy speckled with stars, each a pinprick of light in its own orbit, and wondered who they are?
What prism of possibilities makes up their personality? Are they the same person they were yesterday? Are they the color of their first kiss? Are they their angriest moments? As you linger there, do you ever consider the galaxy in your own eyes? What about the moments, the memories and the people that osmose through your cerebral filter to make you who you are?
Who are you? Yes you philosopher. You reading this very sentence. Who. Are. You?
This week we’re going to shake your core memories to well…the core as we reflect on what makes you you with the Philosophy of Personhood! So join us in CDS B62 at 5pm on Friday 28th February to let us know who you are!
